“9 years is a long time to dedicate ones time to something. Every year during the school year I would dream of the days when I would be back at the camp running around with my friends and horseback riding and of course the pranks on the boys. The stuff I loved as a child and soon after a young adult made my time as a counselor at Camp Illahaw even more of an experience. I already knew what had made my time so memorable, so I was more then happy to share the same experiences with the campers. I was over joyed to hear I would be able to come back as a counselor for my 9th consecutive year and this year was just as great. The campers I had grown up with and I had made camp memories with had made the time even better, just to see the young girls and boys they had become. It was fun living with counselors from all over the world having the experiences I did this summer. I wouldn’t trade that summer for anything. Thank you to all the kids who made it memorable and to all the counselors who started out as friends and in the end left as family. Camp Illahaw 2014 was the best!!!”

“Any and all experiences I’ve had at Camp Illahaw have been some of the most memorable of my life. The camp has the best and most involved counselors I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. The activities are always a blast, and the kids are usually well behaved due to the respect for the counselors. My time as a C.I.T. was great as I had learned a lot and felt respected by counselors and campers alike.”
