At Camp lllahaw, we strive to provide exceptional service and value at all times. However, many of our activities – Day, Evening and Add-on – are predicted by weather which can change, hour by hour in, Central Florida during the summer. While every effort will be made to accommodate all activities, especially Add-on, there is no guarantee as the safety and welfare of our campers is critical above all else.

We hope all campers have the opportunity to pursue adventures and new challenges; however, if this is not possible the following policies will be enforced:

Unable to Attend Session

If for any reason you are unable to attend a session that you have registered for (i.e. paid a deposit) you can change the session with 10 days notice one time with no additional fee. A $25 change fee will apply per camper for less than 10 days notice. If you cannot attend ANY session a credit will be offered for the following camp season.

Missed an Add-on Activity

Registration of your camper guarantees his/her space in an activity that requires paying additional staff based on the number of registrations. All activities have a maximum number of participants and your registration prohibits another camper from participating. We incur these additional expenses and plan for them according to weekly registration numbers. No Refunds will be issued for missing an add-on activity due to:

  • Camper Not Knowing or Not Paying Attention to schedule
  • Illness
  • Homesickness
  • Early Departure
  • Other Personal Matter

We do understand that some circumstances are extenuating and beyond control. These situations should be discussed with the Camp Director at your earliest convenience. All camp revenues are used to support conservation and education activities by the nonprofit managing organization the Allen Broussard Conservancy.
